A babysitter contract exists between parents and a person who is paid to observe and care for their children. A babysitter can be hired on a case-by-case basis or on a weekly schedule. In most cases, a babysitter is not engaged as an employee, but as an independent subcontractor and is responsible for paying her own withholding taxes. In addition to compensation, the contract should include the babysitter`s responsibilities, methods of transportation, emergency contacts and any other conditions to be agreed. Part II of this Agreement shall be labelled “II. Children”. The statement here gives rise to a numbered list of empty lines. Use each line to designate a child that the babysitter will take care of based on this contract. If more than three subordinate children are involved, you must add additional lines and save their names or document their identity in an appendix.

If fewer than three children are involved, leave the blank lines under his or her name (or their) unmarked. Now that the date and parts of the agreement have been identified, we will look at the money the babysitter expects in exchange for the child care he or she will provide. The final data is used using the content of the “3rd payment”. Three selections of check-boxes are displayed to allow you to report it simply by activating the control box corresponding to the declaration that allows you to best define the babysitter`s remuneration. If it is a dollar that needs to be paid by the hour, activate the box to be checked and use the space in this selection to indicate the amount of money per hour to be paid to the babysitter for each hour of work. If the payment is made after the end of each session, mark the second check box and enter the amount that the babysitter will receive at the end of the session. This choice also allows you to give a clear definition of payment. For example, if the babysitter is paid and receives a certain amount of money for a certain number of days, use the third instruction by activating the control box and reporting it accurately in the example below. You may use this statement if it is more appropriate than the above statement.

Reischer recommends that each nanny contract also contain a termination clause detailing the expiration date of the contract. This doesn`t need to translate into the end of their employment – it may simply indicate that a new contract needs to be drawn up if circumstances change. “The contract should present all the reasons for the termination of the contract,” he says. “The employer should include a clause” to any “that allows the nanny to be gotten for any reason.” The main difference is that a nanny is expected to take care of the children`s daily lives, whereas a babysitter is just a “substitute” for a while and is not expected to prepare meals, perform household chores or other work in addition to supervision. Some fundamental expectations are understood by the basics of child care. If there are additional responsibilities, these should also be documented. For example, the babysitter may be asked to also offer light tutoring services. The article “V. Responsibilities” provides the space you need to document such additional obligations as long as they are contained prior to the signing of this contract.

The “VI. Allergies” indicates the food, liquid, tissue or gas allergies that the child may have. If this is not the case because the child does not have allergies, mark the first checkbox instruction in this article. If the child has allergies, mark the second box and save them. For more information, see the example below. The next article, which must be defined, is referred to as `VII. . . .
