A babysitter contract exists between parents and a person who is paid to observe and care for their children. A babysitter can be hired on a case-by-case basis or on a weekly schedule. In most cases, a babysitter is not engaged as an employee, but as an independent subcontractor and is responsible for paying her own withholding taxes. In addition to compensation, the contract should include the babysitter`s responsibilities, methods of transportation, emergency contacts and any other conditions to be agreed. Part II of this Agreement shall be labelled “II. Children”. The statement here gives rise to a numbered list of empty lines. Use each line to designate a child that the babysitter will take care of based on this contract. If more than three subordinate children are involved, you must add additional lines and save their names or document their identity in an appendix.
If fewer than three children are involved, leave the blank lines under his or her name (or their) unmarked. You may use this statement if it is more appropriate than the above statement.
Reischer recommends that each nanny contract also contain a termination clause detailing the expiration date of the contract. This doesn`t need to translate into the end of their employment – it may simply indicate that a new contract needs to be drawn up if circumstances change. “The contract should present all the reasons for the termination of the contract,” he says. “The employer should include a clause” to any “that allows the nanny to be gotten for any reason.” The main difference is that a nanny is expected to take care of the children`s daily lives, whereas a babysitter is just a “substitute” for a while and is not expected to prepare meals, perform household chores or other work in addition to supervision. Some fundamental expectations are understood by the basics of child care. If there are additional responsibilities, these should also be documented. For example, the babysitter may be asked to also offer light tutoring services. The article “V.
